Welcome to
Care2Learn
Collective

My name is Emily Meddle and I am the founder of Care2Learn Collective! I am dedicated to providing specialised tutoring and mentoring services for children with special needs.

I have grown up in a way that has helped me to truly understand how to navigate life using special needs as a super power rather than something we suffer from. I myself have ADHD and my brother has ASD so for me, being around young people with special educational needs feels natural as I know no different! Meet Emily - the founder of Care2Learn Collective

My Story...

I first started getting the idea to build a community to not only help young people but their families when working in the Special Educational Needs (SEN) industry. I began my journey working in specialist disability care before moving into schools as a Teaching Assistant. It was at that moment I fell in love with supporting young people manage the school day but there was something missing...I wanted to connect the dots between school and the child's personal life and help support them with the challenges that SEN inevitably creates for each child and their family members.

It was then that I transitioned into the role of a private tutor and mentor for BCP council, helping children who are unable to remain in a school environment due to their needs. I gained experience working with students with ASD/ADHD/PTSD/OCD and many more.  It was through this I thought of Care2Learn Collective. I want to continue helping children by offering personalised tutoring and mentoring sessions, but also help build a community for the family supporting children with complex needs. The education system is set up in a way that only allows our children 39 weeks of educational support a year. So what about Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays? Children who need additional support can't just turn off their needs for the holidays - this is where Care2Learn Collective comes in.

Care2Learn Collective is committed to making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. I believe in creating a platform that helps each child understand their needs and build habits that support them achieving their highest potential, whatever that may look like.
